Worken does NOT store your data on our servers. We only connect to YOUR Google Workspace, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Sheets, or Dropbox. You own and control 100% of your data at all times.

What Data We Access (But Don't Store)

When you grant Worken permission, we connect to your cloud services only to provide functionality. We never copy, store, or keep your data:

  • •Google Sheets: We create and read spreadsheets in YOUR Google Drive to manage workforce data. All data stays in your Google account.
  • •Google Drive: We store documents and files directly in YOUR Google Drive. You can access, modify, or delete them anytime.
  • •Gmail Integration (Optional): With your explicit permission, we integrate with your Gmail to send notifications and alerts. We restricted our use of data to providing or improving user-facing features. We do not use this data for advertising. We never read your personal emails or store message content.
  • •Information We Collect: We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services: Account Information (name, email via Google), Usage Data (logs, device info), and Integration Data (metadata from connected services). We do not collect sensitive personal data typically monitored under GDPR unless you explicitly input it into your own documents.

What We Never Do With Your Data

How Our Data Model Works

You Connect Your Account

You authorize Worken to access your Google Workspace or Dropbox using OAuth 2.0 (industry-standard secure authentication).

We Create Structure in YOUR Space

Worken creates organized spreadsheets and folders in YOUR Google Drive or Dropbox. This is your database, not ours.

Data Stays With You Forever

All workforce data, documents, and records live in your cloud account. Even if you stop using Worken, you keep everything.

Your Rights & Control

  • •Revoke Access Anytime: Disconnect Worken from your Google account or Dropbox instantly through your account settings. Your data remains untouched in your drive.
  • •Export Everything: Since data is already in YOUR Google Drive/Dropbox, you can export it using Google Takeout or Dropbox export tools anytime.
  • •Delete Your Data: Simply delete the Worken folder from your Google Drive or Dropbox. We have no copy of your data to delete.

Security & Encryption

While we don't store your data, we take security seriously. All connections use TLS/SSL encryption. Access tokens are encrypted. We follow Google's and Dropbox's security best practices. Your data benefits from Google Workspace Enterprise security or Dropbox Business security - we add zero additional risk.
